Obedience

The Lord brought this to my mind yesterday when I was waiting at Jurong East Mrt platform for the train....

"If you love me, you'll keep my commandments." John 14:15

NKJ termed it as "obey my commandments". No compromise, no arguments; just trust, just submission.

Poem + Sms = SmsPoem

Did you try pronouncing it? haaaa

Anyway, I received this SmsPoem for New Year.
Hey Liyang, you are a GENIUS. Maybe rubbed off too much from me eh? Hahahah.
Anyway thanks bro...like I said, it really did warm my heart.

"To my dearest Soo Wei,
A poem I must Say. Before the clock strikes its midnight chime,
Now would be a better time.
A note of gratefulness,
For what would be without your faithfulness?
For all that you have done for me this year,
Those calls, the advice, the listening ear.
To your new year this I toast,
That you will continue in your boast,
In none but our Lord,
and in your ministries you will never be bored.
That you will always be inspired
and won't grow weary and tired.
Now isn't this better than those mass SMS spam,
which I think it is all a sham.
Imagine, this poem was inspired in the shower,
And composed in less than half an hour. "
